The launch of Capture+ in April was a significant milestone for the company, revolutionising the way in which the service is provided and setting a benchmark for others to follow. Postcode Anywhere also continued to strengthen its customer portfolio in 2012 with big names such as H Samuel, McDonalds, Jack Wills and Tesco all now using its pioneering address finder technology on their websites.

Guy Mucklow, managing director of Postcode Anywhere said: “This year has been one of major improvement for Postcode Anywhere in terms of both growth and product development. Our newest release Capture+ expands on the web-based “what’s my postcode?” technology we pioneered over ten years ago and has been creating quite a buzz within the industry.

“Our two most recent awards have been based purely on customer satisfaction, being voted on by our own customers. We are really proud to have had such a positive impact on our customer’s businesses and see winning as confirmation that our technology is really something to shout about.”

2013 will be a year of further expansion for the team, as it completes a major investment in new offices in Worcester and increases its US presence following the launch of a Postcode Anywhere website specifically for the North American market (www.postcodeanywhere.com). It will also be looking to increase its partner network, following up recent integrations with both Magento and Oracle Fusion in October.

As always Postcode Anywhere ensured that it fulfilled its corporate social responsibility (CSR) in 2012. Supporting the Standup2Cancer campaign, the company provided technology for the website and contact centre that enabled donations to be processed at a greater speed and with more efficiency.

2012 also saw the first of many Graduate days at the company, from which four new employees were found.

Guy Mucklow added, “In much the same way as the launch of our transactional web based “what’s you postcode?” service disrupted the cozy alliance of suppliers in early 2000, we have some very exciting announcements lined up for 2013 which, will have a similar transformational impact on our industry. We look forward to these changes which, we believe, will cause quite a stir in the market.”
