A leading healthcare technology company is on course to achieve a turnover of £3million this year amid continuing strong growth.
MSoft eSolutions expects to increase staff numbers from 27 to more than 30 by the start of next year which would mean a doubling of workforce in just over a year.
The Merseyside company’s turnover in the last financial year was £2.2million, but further contract wins across its two business divisions means it is forecasting £3million turnover in the current financial year.
Bromborough-based MSoft provides health trusts with its innovative blood-tracking software, Bloodhound, enabling positive identification of users and patients and in-depth auditing of all bloods across each and every stage of the transfusion process – to help get the right blood into the right patient.
Last year, it won all eight Bloodhound tenders it competed for including Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and East Cheshire NHS Trust.
MSoft is also the largest software provider into the community equipment stores sector with its own internet-based solution, CES360, which links every partner, store and prescriber. The company’s software is used by more than 75 community equipment stores in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It is also sold globally following the company’s successful contract win in Tasmania, Australia, earlier this year.
Among recent new recruits to the MSoft team are project manager Stuart Johnson, support team leader Robert Chapman and sales administrator Rachael Woolley. David Whiley becomes Bloodhound System Support Officer for the South of England based in Brighton.
The company has also appointed Lesley Sutton as clinical advisor. Lesley was previously Blood Bank Manager at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester and will be providing MSoft with up-to-date guidance on blood regulations in the UK and around the world.
Matt McAlister, MSoft eSolutions’ Managing Director, said: “We are continuing to experience strong growth and anticipate winning a number of additional Bloodhound and CES360 contracts before the end of the year.
“We expect turnover to break through the £3million mark in the current financial year and we are actively putting plans in place to kick on to the next stage in our business growth.
“We have made a number of significant appointments across the company during recent months and we will be carrying out further recruitment over the coming months.
“Our continued strong growth is only possible because of the calibre of our people allied to innovative products and robust business processes. These are exciting times at MSoft eSolutions.”
